Millennium Pro Wrestling is a California based independent pro wrestling company. Founded by a pro wrestler who was tired of being mistreated by promoters who had no idea was it felt like to actually be in the ring in 2001, MPW ran numerous shows in the San Fernando Valley area of Los Angeles. MPWs first run changed the entire face of Southern California pro wrestling by putting the best wrestling in Southern California against some of the best wrestlers from across the country. MPWs roster included Samoa Joe, Christopher Daniels, Frankie Kazarian, Guido Nunzio Maritato, Chris Chetti, Vampiro, Low Ki (Kaval), Brian Kendrick, and Rocky Romero. After an exciting run, MPW closed its doors until May of 2010. MPW sanctioned the first ever Hair vs Badge Match in pro wrestling history between Logan X and California pro wrestling legend Cincinnati Red. The stakes were so high in this match that WWE Hall of Famer, Rowdy Roddy Piper got physically involved to ensure that Reds underhanded tactics did not help him win. When attendting an MPW show, fans will see all aspects of pro wrestling- from Lucha Libre to Japenese Strong Style to American Hardcore, MPW has it all.
